讨论！ Aero Precision M4E1还是Atlas

I saw couple discussions on the forum about the Aero Precision M4E1 handguard system.
Here are some photos of my newly assembled Aero Atlas handguard which is their new production line they are promoting.
I have both M4E1 and the atlas hand guard.
As a result just want to talk a little about both handguard system.
I paid $230 for the Aero Atlas Hand guard and Strip upper(FDE). Just an reference for yall.

M4E1 Pros: 1. probably one of the most regit hand guard system in the market.
                 2. There are more than just Aero Precision making these M4E1 handguards in the market, so you can buy someone else's M4E1 and put it on an M4E1 upper.
                 3. They are very well made alumnium hand guards
                 4. The new ones are lighter than the old version and looks cooler as well. They even have a built-in QD attachment point.
                 5. the installation do not require any timing.
        Cons: 1. These hand guard are way to thick/fat
                 2. compare to the New Atlas, they are too heavy
Here is a photo of my M4E1 build (Used BCM SS410 18" intermediate Barrel & Geisslle SSAE trigger)

Atlas Pros:  1. They are really skinny and way litgher than M4E1
                 2. They are definitely eco-friendly compare some of the Geislle, BCM and Midwest Industry Handguard.
                 3. although not proven yet, I think their locking machanism is just as regid as their M4E1
                 4. It is perfect size for a handgrip, it feels so comfortable to have your hands on it.
                 5. Although it does require a little bit of timing when install, it is still a lot easier than most products in the market
                 6. it do not require an M4E1 strip upper, you can install them on any regular AR upper
        Cons: 1. It is not as verstile as M4E1 as Aero is the only company make them so far
                 2. The handguard has eliminate big portion of the top rail. So for folks like to put shit ton of accessaries on their AR it is a bad thing.

Just a little add-on. I think M4E1 is a perfect handguard for DMR build. And a Atlas hand guard is good for 3-Guns.

个人理解完全没区别 可能spr还要考虑耐操性吧

我觉得这个设计停实际好用的 只要不是装圣诞树 绝对够用的。
最主要的是他去掉这个toprail的一部分 手感提升一个档次

顶部一溜是一条的样子 可能起到加强筋的作用?

省去部分导轨并不代表Atlas就是低端产品，而且导轨砍掉以后也并不是光秃秃的一条， 而是有加强筋。不管这个加强筋对增加护木强度有多大的助益，至少non-firing hand握在上面的时候能增加摩擦，而又不至于胳手，非常舒服，对射击体验有很大提高。

不知道是不是抄袭UTG,设计方面有下工夫是肯定的。

加工的话现在都是一整块儿6061铝扔进CNC数控切割，加工复杂程度并无区别。

市面上确实有很多高端产品比Aero还轻， 但是又要轻，又好看，要纤细，还要考虑价钱的话，Atlas性价比很高。
至于在功能扩展方面跟M4E1的对比，就完全看个人需求了，不要求把消音器藏在handguard里，不用装圣诞树的话，完全可以考虑Atlas。

另外45度铁瞄的后瞄，的前后位置有什么讲究？  往前点貌似 ...

楼主hi左眼主眼 虽然是右撇子 但是用左手射击长枪。 前后瞄距离越远 瞄准基线就越长 于是就更容易打得准
