3D printing的确更不容易track - 80%每一块都要买的。Printer只买一次，还不一定打印啥的

你不想track有人想哈。我理解为啥控枪派越来越紧张，因为3D printing技术和材料越来越成熟，分分钟print个塑料pistol frame，越来越没法控。不管你怎么说，这些发展都让坏人越来越容易有枪，也是个麻烦事，拥枪的也不能不承认这个事实。当然polymer80 frame也有同样作用。到目前还没听说太多80%犯罪的。等多起来有可能像bumper stock一样被禁。

话说existing inventory换手和更多枪进入流通不是一码事。很容易自己做就不用买了，而且自己做可能更便宜。而且3D printing不是噱头。你可能不同意 - 如果材料用对了，打印一个polymer pistol frame应该不难。没必要把枪管slide也打印。

在合法这边没啥特殊，就是越来越容易了，坏人也容易拿到，对吧

You think a smart criminal, or a member of organized crime, would rather rob someone and subject him to being caught before doing what he really wants to do, than having someone print a clean and untraceable pistol? Anyone who thinks that is not a smart criminal if you ask me, LOL. If we are talking about bad guy on good guy crimes, the bad guys firearms are more for threatening than for shooting. A handgun with a lightweight untraceable plastic frame (just like Glocks or the polymer80 ones) is a much better option than having a stolen firearm on them which will probably add another 10 years on top of the robbery itself.

I'm talking about criminals in general. Even the stupid ones don't want to be caught. It's just sometimes they can't help it.
