I did three things to help the trigger on my Henry Survival.

1. Polished trigger/hammer surfaces

2. Made a trigger shoe out of thin sheet metal and JB Weld

3. Positioned the inner leg of the hammer/trigger spring where it rested on the receiver and not on the trigger pin.

Resulting trigger pull measured around 3 1/2 pounds, but because of the shoe, felt less.
