美国疾病控制中心有关枪支暴力犯罪的研究

去簡單掃了一眼報告的原文。這是一篇開題報告，CDC文中只是列舉了各方面的事實，並認為槍與暴力的關係，以及控槍政策的效果在現階段都無法證實，因此存在研究價值。何況這份報告本身就是2013年做成的，1千萬投資的研究總不可能一年內結束。
我覺得這份報告充其量只是說明了前文的 234，不能說明「1 枪支是最安全的自卫手段」。而 234 在控槍派眼裏恐怕也無法成為打他們臉的證據。

Studies that directly assessed the effect of actual defensive uses of guns have found consistently lower injury rates among gun-using crime victims compared with victims who used other self-protective strategies. Effectiveness of defensive tactics, however, is likely to vary across types of victims, types of offenders, and circumstances of the crime, so further research is needed both to explore these contingencies and to confirm or discount earlier findings.

槍支當然是最安全的自衛手段。
我只是說CDC這個報告沒有直接認可這一點，而是認爲一切有待研究。所以我覺得拿這個宣告勝利有點早。
