British use this a lot for night hunting, rat, pigion, raccoon, fox, hog in TEXAS...... youtube search key word: nite site ns200

seems this can be used in multiple guns, cross bow, ... Eagle type can see 550 yard per mfger.  I am happy if 150 yard effective.  pls comments.

choice one, each gun have a nice night vision. but expensive
choice two, buy one, not the best, but can be put on each gun or cross bow. no need to remove existing scope. i know this is not the best, but better than nothing. see 110 yard view, seems ok to shot at this clarity.

I like the one you ordered. but I cannot buy one for air rifle, one for 22, one for 17 hmr, one for 243, one for 3006, and one for cross bow, ....   this one has many disadvantage comparing the one you ordered. but better than nothing.

which gun you are goint to put the new night vision on.  my will be here in 2 days.  will try the 0.25 cal marauder PCP first. also can try Peter land coon with 17 hmr. it says to see 550 yard.  buy i am happy with youtube 110 yard deer that is so clear.

3把枪。自动归零. new technology!   each of my guns have large scope, all with Nikon Monarch 50 mm with side focus or 56 mm scope on PCP.  i just do not want to remove them since my eye sight is not as good as average people. so i have to have either big scope for day or big screen for night, like watching TV per greywolf mention.

by the way, really like your decision of quit job and do something you like,live where you prefer. i quit my job years ago and either do start up or relax at home. my issue is that my LD hate my guns and hate me hunting.

my should arrive this afternoon. this week to try on 0.25 pcp.  next month try 17 hmr.  if go hog huning,  will try 243 or 3006.  there is a ranch in N TX for bow hunting hog only. so i can put it on my cross bow for trophy hog night hunting.

1. 50 yard, see grass leaf clearly and flying bugs around leaf. like day time.
2. 100 yard, each break and the seam between break (5-8 mm?). like day time
3. 150 yard, sea break like day time. should see rabbit if any. any hog or raccoon nowhere to hide.
4. 2x2 inch screen is much more clear than what I see on youtube.
issue:
1. camera can move, so need to check camera every time move to new position. gerywolfman's NV should not have this issue.
2. 4X is the most clear one.  if X increases, brightness reduces (collect less light).
overall:  within 150 yard tested, turn night into day. but view angel is limited. not so easy to move. it is ok if sit and wait, not ok to take the gun move around.

seems comparable to 3rd generation NV withing 150 yard (i used one 2 years ago). spec says 550 yard visible.
my scope is 56 mm lens. so this may help collect more light. within 100 yard is actually too bright if light is in max position, like under noon sun, very bright.

about 40 yard, see clearly a rabbit head to tail. eye lit up as two lights. surrand as day light. just like watching TV, cross line on, no need to rezero to hit. greywolfman, you need to see and hear the thomp.

do not sell N550 yet.  my need longer time to set up. need to use side focus for exact distance for image clarity. camera unit moves when i move (easy to put back, 1 second or less).  only reason to buy this is that this can be used for many guns, and i sit and wait hunting at night. if i stalk hunting at night, i would not recommend this one.  i saw youtube 110 yard deer (link posted) and seems that is true. spec is 550 yard and i am only use it for 100 yard with 56 mm scope, seem ok. have not tried 50 mm Monarch yet, my 3006 Nikon 50 mm scope does not have side focus, 243, 17 hmr, 22LR (28 inch barrel with RWS subsonic, very low report) all have Monarch side focus 50 mm lens. will give to greywolfman to check and report once have chance.

i told you my eye sight is not as good as normal people. so larger and clearer screen helps a lot. turn night into day within 100 yard for sure.

I read battery can last for 4 hours. if I turn on every 20 minutes or until I heard something (for group of pig, you should heard something), or you put enough food that can last for 20-30 min, then whole night should be no problem. many people put a motion sensor that once there is an animal, a small red light turn on or a light peep in the blinder to remind you something is there, then you can turn on.  I do like the bigger screen, each viewing.
